Debra and Gaylia started their private practice in the Kent area after working for a Forensic Mental Health Ward for many years within the NHS. They both co-facilitated groups with psychology to understand that small changes in behaviour can change lives. Having gained a wealth of experience they realised that more help was needed in the community.

Debra and Gaylia are also therapists with the Harmony Trust which is a charity providing NHS approved complementary therapy to those coping with cancer or other serious life illnesses in Kent. They work closely with Darenth Valley Hospital SALT department, supporting people with stress and anxiety regarding their diagnosis and treatment.

They are both passionate and committed to support you in your journey of change and can empower you to live your life the way you want! Debra and Gaylia believe that hypnotherapy and psychotherapy can complement each other with excellent results. They have experience with:

INTEGRATED COUNSELLOR

DipCouns, MBACP (Accred.)

Marinette is a fully qualified NHS trained and a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor. She has been taught in different modalities of psychotherapy, including CBT, which enables her to be flexible in using the various approaches as required to suit her clients’ needs.

Marinette has experience of working with adults with a wide range of issues: anxiety, depression, relationship problems, OCD, panic attacks, bereavement, trauma and other areas of mental health from working with the Mental Health Charity, MIND.

Life can be challenging and sometimes stressful situations, thoughts and feelings may stop us from doing the things we enjoy. We may want to change that but do not know how. Marinette believes that having a regular opportunity to be heard, understood and process our emotions helps us to build a better understanding and greater awareness of our situation. She offers a confidential, non-judgemental and comfortable space for clients to talk and explore whatever they need at a pace that is comfortable for them; to listen or to offer strategies to support their needs.
